Congratulations, your baby is 1 year old!

You can just see those neurons firing and spending time with your baby is more fun than ever!  There are some serious attempts to start walking if your baby is not walking already.  Your baby may even be able to execute simple commands although it will be a few more years before they will help to clean the house!

Baby Development - Month 10 and 11

Your baby is moving and loving it!  You better keep up and make sure that baby gates are installed and that everyone (including visitors) understand the importance of keeping the gates closed.  Your baby is pointing, says no for everything and will throw toys deliberately on the floor for you to pick up.  Oh yes, even at this young age they have a sense of humour!

Your baby is a skilled manipulator, not just manipulating toys but also mommy, daddy, grandparents and any other willing participant!

Your baby is making connections, trying to talk and starts to understand when you are talking to him.  They love games and love cuddles!

Baby Development - Month 6 and 7

Month 6 and 7 are big months for your baby's development.  They grasp objects with more confidence, they can start to sit by themselves for short periods of time.  This is the perfect time to start playing stacking games with your baby, introduce baby blocks and play hide and show games with a cloth and your baby's favourite toy.
