Good quality eggs, but the carton will not last

I bought these for my daughters re-outfitted playschool. The kids love the reality of this set. The eggs are a very nice, heavy wood and beautifully finished and painted. The carton is just like a real egg carton, which is nice at first, but I know from experience will not survive more than a couple weeks, if that.
