Made in Germany by Grimm's Spiel und Holz Design. Grimm's Curved wooden colored Waldorf Building Blocks consists of 30 curved wooden Alder blocks in a handy net bag - ready for play.
Even though building blocks are one of the oldest and simplest toys around, it doesn't take long to realize the wonderful play value these toys provide. Only in the hands of a child engaged in imaginative creative play does a piece of wood get magically transformed into a bridge, airplane, ice cream cone or car. Building blocks are wonderful toys to help develop a child's imagination, their sense of space and to stimulate their senses.
These wonderful Curved Waldorf blocks (also known as Montecarlo blocks) each have their own shape and form. Children will have fun playing with these curved blocks by playing stacking games or complete the circuit games (connect the blocks end to end) or just engage in some free play. All of these activities are great for developing fine motor skills, spatial development, fine motor skills, creative play and logical thinking. Add these colorful blocks to an existing block set and children will quickly have domed roof temples, see-saws on a play ground and boats floating on the water! A fascinating European made building block set that can be enjoyed by small children and big children on different levels of development.
The Curved building block set is made in Germany by Grimm's Spiel und Holz Design and each block is sanded by hand to ensure a quality finish with no sharp edges or corners. These blocks are finished in warm water based, non-toxic colors and measure approximately 0.75 inches thick, vary in length from 1.5 to 5.25 inches. A wonderful gift for toddlers and children 12 months to 10 years!
