Awesome dollhouse!
As a mother of triplets this dollhouse works perfectly. Since you can split it into two separate houses it minimizes the usual fights amongst siblings! My girls love it. Posted by Kate from Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Great, but not as great as I had expected.
I love Plan Toys, how they are made, what does & doesnt go into them, etc. Naturally I had very high expectations for the Doll House. It is great, but not quite as wonderful as I thought it would be. The instructions were pretty good but a couple steps were out of order I think, so I had to take it apart a bit to get it together. One of the walls should have a peg thingy on the one side to keep it in the floor Ill probably have to put a tiny screw or nail in it. The furniture is all very cool pretty colors, smooth shapes, however the bathroom vanity sink popped off on the first day (an easy re-glue will fix it). All in all, Im glad to have purchased a Plan Toys wooden doll house instead of a nasty cheap plastic alternative, and I probably would buy it again, I just wouldnt expect perfection. It is a well-built item, but not as sturdy as I expected. And I wish I wouldve waited a bit to buy, as the new "green" dollhouse looks pretty cool and I probably wouldve picked that instead. I also agree with another reviewer that this would be best played with on a play table instead of the floor.
It isnt overly roomy with the slanted roofs, which I think is a bit limiting for what you can play with on the top floors. It definitely seems to cut down on the size. I have concerns that there isnt room for all the fun accessories I had planned to purchase in the future, like the kitchen accessories, and the household accessories, and the kids toys. Being two separate units does help it seem roomier though. Posted by Angela from Lacombe, Alberta, Canada

Pretty, modern dollhouse
The house is totally full with all the included furniture, so you wont add any accessory pieces unless you use them outside the house. The floorboards were a bit warped, so we were worried it would not assemble correctly, but by the time the walls were attached, everything laid flat well enough. House is sturdy, cute, and my 2.5 year old really likes it. Also, it is gender neutral and not too "girly" like some dollhouses. Posted by Lisa from La Ronge, Saskatchewan, Canada

love the style...gender neutral...but
This house needs to be place at a higher level to optimize using the ground floors...by the time you get the furntiture in...there isnt a lot of room to play (particulariy the living room). The kitchen has no where to place the accessories I purchased (like the coffe maker and microwave)...and it doesnt come with (or have space for) a dining table if you dont expand beyond the doll house boundaries). I would buy it again...but there are some modifications to make so it can really be played with. Posted by shannon from toronto, Ontario, Canada

Fun for girls AND boys
Both my 3 year old and my 14 month love playing with this doll house!!<br>The dollhouse is very sturdy and has lot's of options for arranging things around. The furniture that comes with the dollhouse is beautifully made. This toy was a good investment with lots of educational value. Posted by Malika from Lasalle, Quebec, Canada
