What a great, affordable & green alternative to the ubiquitous Thomas train sets! We love Plan City because of its urban setting that reflects our childrens true environment (rather than Thomas rural Britain). We have bought road & rail sets, including the wonderful rail system through the mountains. My 2 yr old son will play with this toy for hours & has figured out how to assemble the road pieces on his own. Weve purchased the construction vehicles, school bus & car sets & they seem to have a nice ergonomic design for small hands, moving well along the road.

I think its a great complement to the rail set. Same high quality not just with the tracks, but the vehicles and accessories that come with it. A little pricy, but not restrictive if you want to expand on the set above.
