We were very pleased with the quality of the grocery store but were very disappointed that it didnt come with any accessories, other than the little chalkboards. Not even chalk :) For the price, it would have been nice to have a few small items and a piece of chalk thrown in. We ended up buying accessories for another $50 or so.

While Dad found it a bit difficult to assemble due to the fact that some of the holes were not pre-drilled correctly (unusual from other great Melissa & Doug products weve purchased over the years), our son LOVES it! It is a daily playtime favourite. Stable, colourful, and he knew what to do with it right away. Just supply your own play food and a toy cash register and you are all set for hours of fun.
